This time there is a lot of confusion about the date of Janmashtami. Actually, this time Krishna Janmashtami is falling on two days i.e. 23 and 24 August. According to Hindu beliefs, Krishna, the eighth incarnation of Vishnu, was born in Rohini Nakshatra on the Ashtami of the Krishna Paksha of Bhado month. Accordingly, Ashtami is falling on 23 August while Rohini Nakshatra is on its next day i.e. 24 August. It means to say that this time the combination of Ashtami and Rohini constellation is not happening. In such a situation, the question arises that on which day Janmashtami Fast should be observed? Let us tell you that the pundits believe that Janmashtami fast is indisputably for the householders on August 23.

According to the scriptures, according to scriptures, Janmashtami fast should be observed on the night of Bhadrapada Krishna Ashtami Tithi during moonrise. Mothers, like mother Devaki, keep fast for the whole day and fast and observe their fast at the light of the Lord in the night by offering arghya to Lord Chandradeva at the time of moonrise.

Bhadra Pad Krishna is considered to be the most auspicious of the moon rising on the Ashtami date. It is believed that Lord Krishna appeared in this moonrise during this moonrise.

Astrologers say that this lunar Udaya Darshan coincides only once a year. This time this coincidence is on the night of 23 August. In this case, fast should be observed on this day.

Due to this, the birth anniversary of God is celebrated in Gokul and many other places for the next several days. In fact, the next day the Gokul residents came to know that Nanda Ghar is an awe and birth anniversary started.
