Don't Change The World

Don't Change The World Long ago, people lived happily under the rule of a king. The people of the kingdom were very happy as they led a very prosperous life with an abundance of wealth and no misfortunes. Once, the king decided to go visiting places of historical importance and pilgrim centres at distant places. He decided to travel by foot to interact with his people. People of distant places were very happy to have a conversation with their king. They were proud that their king had a kind heart. After several weeks of travel, the king returned to the palace. He was quite happy that he had visited many pilgrim centres and witnessed his people leading a prosperous life. However, he had one regret. He had intolerable pain in his feet as it was his first trip by foot covering a long distance. He complained to his ministers that the roads weren't comfortable and that they were very stony. He could not tolerate the pain. He said that he was very much worried about the people who ha...

The Bridge Builder: A Story of Forgiveness and Reconciliation

The Bridge Builder: A Story of Forgiveness and Reconciliation Once upon a time, two brothers who lived on adjoining farms fell into conflict. It was the first serious rift in 40 years of farming side by side, sharing machinery, and trading labor and goods as needed without a hitch. Then the long collaboration fell apart. It began with a small misunderstanding and it grew into a major difference, and finally it exploded into an exchange of bitter words followed by weeks of silence. One morning there was a knock on John's door. He opened it to find a man with a carpenter's toolbox. "I'm looking for a few days work," he said. "Perhaps you would have a few small jobs here and there. Could I help you?" "Yes," said the older brother. "I do have a job for you. Look across the creek at that farm. That's my neighbor, in fact, it's my younger brother. Last week there was a meadow between us and he took his bulldozer to the river levee and no...

The Whisperer: A Tale of Experience and Expertise

The Whisperer: A Tale of Experience and Expertise A giant ship’s engine failed and was grounded ashore. Several weeks passed, and the ship's owners tried one expert after another. However, none of the experts could figure out how to fix the engine. Then they brought in an old man who has been fixing ships since he was young. He carried with him a large bag of tools, and when he arrived, he immediately went to work. He inspected the engine very carefully—top to bottom. Two of the ship's owners were present, watching this man, hoping he would know what to do. After looking things over, the old man reached into his bag and pulled out a small hammer. Gently, he tapped something, and instantly, the engine lurched into life. It was fixed! He put his hammer in his bag and after some pleasantaries, went away without asking for anything. A week later, the owners of the ship received a letter from the old man demanding ten thousand dollars. "What?! He barely did anything!" The ...

The Short Journe

Image
The Short Journe A young lady sat in a bus. At the next stop a loud and grumpy old lady came and sat by her. She squeezed into the seat and bumped her with her numerous bags. The person sitting on the other side of the young lady got upset, asked her why she did not speak up and say something. The young lady responded with a smile: "It is not necessary to be rude or argue over something so insignificant, the journey together is so short. I get off at the next stop." This response deserves to be written in golden letters: "It is not necessary to argue over something so insignificant, our journey together is so short" If each one of us realized that our time here is so short; that to darken it with quarrels, futile arguments, not forgiving others, discontentment and a fault finding attitude would be a waste of time and energy. Did someone break your heart? Be calm, the journey is so short. Did someone provoke or intimidate you? Be calm, forgive; the journey is so shor...

Goals and Patience motivational story  "Samuel Etoo, I was poor when I met my rich wife. When I met my wife, I was still an amateur footballer in France. Nantes refused to take me, but my wife always believed in me. I had my little Cameroonian accent; she was in charge of a hairdresser in Nantes. Today, she is the wife of the most titled footballer on the African continent, and I am the husband of the most patient woman in the world. Life is not a speed race but a cross-country race”. Moral of the story: Invest in your relationship; tomorrow is a surprise.

Gratitude in the Ruins short story with moral Children stories  After twenty years of saving every penny, a poor man finally built a house for his family. Tragically, just two days before they were set to move in, an earthquake destroyed it completely.Despite his devastating loss, the man went to the market, bought sweets, and headed to the site of his ruined home. Surrounded by sympathetic onlookers, he surprised them all by joyfully distributing sweets.Confused, a friend asked if he had lost his mind, considering the circumstances. The man simply smiled and explained that the collapse of his house, though tragic, could have been much worse if it had happened while his family was inside. His positive outlook teaches us that even in the face of apparent loss, maintaining a positive perspective can help us navigate through tough times. Always finding a reason to be grateful, even in adversity, can bring resilience and peace."

A Peaceful Passing short story with moral "She said, “Don't call the doctor, I want to fall asleep peacefully, with your hand in mine.” He told her about the past, how they met, and their first kiss. They didn't cry, they smiled. They didn't regret anything, they were grateful. Then she repeated softly, 'I love you forever!' He returned her words, gave her a soft kiss on the forehead. She closed her eyes and fell asleep peacefully with her hand in his. Love is what matters because man comes into this world with nothing other than love and leaves with nothing other than love. Profession, career, bank account, our goods are just tools, nothing more. Everything stays here. Love, as if there was nothing more important in your life."
